Keep moving forward and stand for something — my takeaways from CES 2023
The recent 2023 Consumer Electronics Show held in Vegas lived up to its reputation of being a proving ground for breakthrough technologies and global innovators, with the worlds’ largest tech brands showcasing a wide range of innovations and sharing their thoughts on their plans for the year ahead.
Keynote speakers and analysts delivered some great insights into what their tech focus is and how their brands are going to reach and connect with their consumers.
A number of the same buzzwords bouncing around last year still continue to dominate the conversation — authenticity, purpose,connection — while augmented reality, advanced currencies, artificial intelligence and trust in data remain as key topics shaping how we do business going forward.
Two things stood out for me from this year’s keynote speeches and presentations. One, marketing teams cannot stand still and two, brands cannot hide behind fancy campaigns and marketing efforts, they must have substance and know their purpose.
